Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking an Audit Manager to lead engagement teams in audits, reviews, and compilations, delivering high-quality work and strong client service. You’ll identify risks, mentor staff, and collaborate with Partners on budgets and growth initiatives.

The role requires a CPA or 150 credit hours, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, and at least 6 years in public accounting with supervisory experience. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA or 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility required.
• Minimum 6 years at a public accounting firm with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency in managing teams across engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
• Ability to excel both independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Caseware/Caseview is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams in audits, reviews, and compilations, including fieldwork, testing, and documentation review.
• Identify key audit risk areas, formulate approaches, and present conclusions to Partners.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure high-quality work and process efficiency.
• Cultivate positive client relationships through proactive communication.
• Coordinate with Partners regarding work status and client issues.
• Evaluate staff performance and deliver constructive feedback.
• Develop budgets and pricing strategies for audit engagements.
• Participate in business development, proposals, and networking events.
• Stay current with industry developments, regulatory changes, and trends in auditing practices.
