Job summary

Citrin Cooperman seeks an Audit Supervisor to join the Audit & Attest Department in Massachusetts. You will supervise audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

  • CPA or 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with a public accounting firm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on client responsiveness.
  • Proficiency in supervising staff across various engagements.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Analytical, organizational, and project management strengths.
  • Knowledge of Caseware/Caseview is a plus.

  • Supervise audit, review, and compilation procedures including testing of controls, substantive testing, and analytical procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive audit plans tailored to each client's risks and requirements.
  • Train and mentor team members to ensure high-quality work and efficient processes.
  • Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning to completion, overseeing timelines and budgets.
  • Cultivate positive client relationships through proactive communication and engagement with client personnel.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and networking events.
