Job summary

Current seeks an Audit Manager to lead high‑quality audit and assurance engagements, develop people, and help grow the firm’s practice. You will supervise engagement teams, manage budgets and timelines, review workpapers, and partner with leadership to maintain technical excellence and client satisfaction.

You’ll stay current on auditing standards, contribute to process improvements, and participate in business development while delivering a strong, value‑driven client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA license required or equivalent active licensure.
• Experience managing audit engagements in public accounting.
• Experience reviewing workpapers and client-facing communication.
• Exposure to complex accounting/auditing areas desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, risk assessment, staffing, and timelines for engagements.
• Oversee day-to-day execution across engagements; allocate resources and resolve issues.
• Review critical workpapers and conclusions for quality and compliance.
• Coach and develop staff with performance feedback and delegation.
• Monitor engagement economics, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate client communications and promote strong relationships.
