Job summary

Pro-Recruitment Group in Kettering is seeking an Audit Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of corporate clients and lead a team. You will manage client relationships and partner with senior staff to deliver high-quality audits.

You will drive planning through to completion, review files and statutory accounts, and contribute to business development while expanding your role beyond traditional audit work.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualified with solid UK accountancy practice experience.
• Post-qualified experience in audit leadership and client management.
• Experience supervising and developing junior staff and reviewing files.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Review and finalise audit files and statutory accounts.
• Becoming the main day-to-day contact for your clients.
• Manage, coach and develop junior team members.
• Work directly with Partners on complex assignments.
• Manage workflow, WIP, budgets and deadlines.
• Spot opportunities for additional client support and advisory work.
• Contribute to business development and department growth.
