Job summary

CPS, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Audit professional to join our Assurance practice and lead client engagements from planning through completion. You will mentor junior staff, review work products, and contribute to the firm's reputation for quality and service.

You will analyze complex transactions, issue thoughtful recommendations, and leverage our resources to deliver timely, accurate attest engagements for a diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Drive client engagements from start to finish
• Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed-upon procedures, and other attestation engagements
• Demonstrate professional creativity in handling client matters and offer constructive suggestions to improve client operations
• Analyze client transactions effectively, identifying and resolving potential or existing problems through appropriate research and consultation
• Take ownership of assignments and leverage firm resources to ensure successful completion
• Oversee, mentor, and develop staff accountants
