This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent client-facing communication, and the ability to balance audit responsibilities with team leadership and business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of audit experience, preferably in public accounting.
• CPA preferred but not required; pursuing CPA encouraged.
• Demonstrated experience leading audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Strong client-facing communication with executives and client teams.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing audit professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, workflow, and project performance.
• Serve as primary point of coordination for client engagements and ensure alignment with standards.
• Build trusted client relationships by identifying risks and offering practical recommendations.
• Review work papers, financial statements, and engagement deliverables for accuracy and quality.
• Coach, mentor, and develop audit team members; promote accountability and growth.
• Partner with firm leadership on practice development and client initiatives.
• Balance technical audit tasks with client communication and team leadership.
