Job summary

Richey May & Co., LLP in the United States is seeking an Audit Manager to lead client engagements, plan and execute audits, and deliver high-quality reports.

The ideal candidate holds CPA licensure, a Bachelor's in accounting, at least five years of related experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to developing the audit team while building long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• CPA licensure is required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with accounting coursework completed.
• Minimum five years of related audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audits using a risk-based approach and prepare audit reports.
• Lead client audit, review, and compilation engagements, including planning and directing audits.
• Build effective relationships with client personnel and conduct collaboration meetings.
• Identify and recommend internal control improvements for clients.
• Manage client accounts including billing, fee analysis and new service development.
• Mentor and develop audit staff; supervise Senior Audit Associates and Audit Interns.
• Maintain knowledge of audit industry practices and ensure best practices.
• Support Partners in achieving department and firm goals.
• Contribute to practice development and new business generation.
