RRBB Accountants + Advisors in New Jersey is seeking an Audit Manager to lead attest engagements and supervise staff. You’ll review workpapers, ensure GAAP compliance, and coordinate client deliverables with a focus on quality and timelines.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred or CPA-eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on attest/audit engagements.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, SSARS, and other applicable standards.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with engagement software (e.g., CaseWare, CCH Engagement) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day attest engagements (audits, reviews, compilations, agreed‑upon procedures).
• Supervise and mentor junior and senior associates during fieldwork and engagements.
• Review workpapers and draft financial statements to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Identify and resolve accounting and audit issues with guidance from managers or partners.
• Serve as primary client contact to coordinate requests and deliverables.
• Assist with engagement planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Participate in staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
