Job summary

CLA is a top 10 national professional services firm seeking an Audit Director/Audit Manager to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in our Northeast offices. The role focuses on leading governmental audits, managing client engagements, and developing staff within a dynamic team.

CPA certification is required and a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance is expected. This role emphasizes client relationships, timely delivery, and mentorship within CLA's growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation and audits.
• Experience leading teams of high performing people and managing governmental audits and Single audits strongly preferred.
• CPA license certification is required.

Our SLG group is one of the fastest growing practice areas within CLA consisting of 600 professionals serving over 2100 local, county, and state government agencies.

The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is $109,000.00 - $184,000.00

The compensation range for this position in New York is $125,400.00- $190,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Connecticut is $114,000.00- $181,000.00
