Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Director/Audit Manager to join our State and Local Government practice in our Northeast offices. The role focuses on leading engagements, mentoring staff, and delivering quality audits for government entities.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least 6 years of public accounting experience, and a CPA license. The Massachusetts compensation range is $109,000–$184,000, with a NY range also noted.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation and audits.
• Experience leading teams of high performing people and managing governmental audits and Single audits strongly preferred.
• CPA license certification is required.

Our SLG group is one of the fastest growing practice areas within CLA consisting of 600 professionals serving over 2100 local, county, and state government agencies.

What you will need:

The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is $109,000.00 - $184,000.00

The compensation range for this position in New York is $125,400.00- $190,000.00
