Premier Financial Search, a growing public accounting firm in Los Angeles, seeks an experienced Audit Manager for its investment funds practice. You will take ownership of sophisticated fund engagements, mentor staff, and build strong client relationships while advancing your career in financial services auditing.

You will lead engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and professional standards, and manage budgets and timelines in a hybrid in-office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Progressive public accounting audit experience including manager level.
• Investment funds/financial services audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• CPA required or strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a deadline-driven environment.
• Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in-office.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit engagements for investment fund clients from planning through completion.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Review financial statements, workpapers, and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead engagement teams: scheduling, delegation, supervision, and review of work.
• Coach and develop seniors and staff with ongoing technical guidance.
• Identify accounting, reporting, and audit issues and develop solutions with clients and leadership.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and performance.
• Stay current on accounting and auditing developments affecting investment funds.

• Lead engagement teams, including scheduling, delegation, supervision, and review of work.

Qualifications

• Several years of progressive public accounting audit experience, including experience at the manager level.
• Meaningful audit experience with investment funds, private equity, hedge funds, or other financial services clients.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and professional auditing standards.
• Experience managing engagements and supervising audit professionals.
• Strong client service, communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• CPA required or strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Hybrid - 3 days in-office

Compensation

$120,000 to $132,000, depending on experience.
