Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3+ years of public accounting audit experience.
  • Experience with financial statement audits and a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • CPA or progress toward CPA licensure preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Investment fund or financial services audit experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple engagements and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and lead audit procedures across multiple client engagements.
  • Take ownership of assigned areas of engagements from planning through completion.
  • Prepare and review audit workpapers and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Identify potential accounting and audit issues and communicate findings to managers and engagement leadership.
  • Coordinate directly with clients to obtain information, resolve questions, and keep engagements moving efficiently.
  • Supervise and mentor staff-level professionals while reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
  • Manage engagement deadlines and competing priorities while maintaining high standards for quality and client service.
