Their experienced team provides accounting, audit, tax, business formation and valuation, M&A planning, financial planning, fraud examination, consulting, and peer review services. For this role, they are seeking an experienced auditor with strong nonprofit/governmental experience and Form 990 knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform financial statement and single-audit engagements for nonprofit/government clients.
• Supervise staff, review workpapers, and ensure GAAP/GAAS compliance.
• Knowledge of Form 990s and advise on nonprofit compliance.
• Communicate with clients and support engagement budgeting/scheduling.

Qualifications

• CPA required.

• Strong supervisory, communication, and client‑facing skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across upstate NY.
