Job summary

Wipfli is seeking an accounting intern to contribute to audit, assurance, and related services in a hands-on environment. You will assist with data gathering, testing, and client communications, while building technical skills in GAAP and financial reporting.

This in-person role offers exposure to diverse clients and industries within a collaborative team setting. Ideal candidates are pursuing an Accounting degree, maintaining strong GPA, and working toward CPA eligibility after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting (corporate or individual taxation class preferred).
• GPA of at least 3.2 is desirable.
• Working toward CPA eligibility after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit, review, and compliance testing per standards.
• Communicate with engagement leaders on open items and issues.
• Prepare or review financial statements and footnotes under GAAP guidance.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
