Wipfli in Atlanta seeks an accounting intern to gain hands-on audit and financial statement experience. You will respond to client requests, assist with data analysis, and learn GAAP under the guidance of engagement leaders.

This in-person role requires regular office attendance; interns will work on real engagements across client sites, develop professional skills, and lay groundwork for CPA eligibility.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting with tax coursework preferred.
• Strong accounting knowledge evidenced by GPA, 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Working toward CPA eligibility after graduation.
• Ability to think independently and communicate clearly with clients.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner
• Respond to inquiries from client and work with client to gather necessary information for completion of required documents
• Use data analysis to discover useful information and support recommendations
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency
• Audit-specific tasks: perform testing procedures as directed by leaders
• Communicate with engagement leaders on open items and issues
• Prepare or review financial statements, footnotes, and management reports
• Develop GAAP competency related to assigned product line
