Job summary

Wipfli LLP in Fort Collins, CO is seeking accounting interns to gain hands-on experience across audit and related services. This in-person role requires regular office presence and active participation in client engagements alongside professionals from the firm.

You will respond to client requests, assist with document preparation, and learn GAAP through real engagement work, while developing data analytics and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting (completion of corporate or individual taxation class is required)
• Preferred GPA 3.0 or higher
• Working toward CPA eligibility after graduation
• Data Analytics or Big Data coursework preferred
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests promptly
• Gather information for required documents from clients
• Use data analysis to identify useful information and patterns for recommendations
• Proactively identify improvements to increase efficiency
• Perform audit, review, and compliance testing per standards
• Prepare or review client financial statements and footnotes or reports
