Job summary

Wipfli is seeking a student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting for an in-person role at our offices. The position involves responding to client requests, gathering information for document completion, and applying data analytics to support recommendations.

Responsibilities include audit, review, and compliance testing, communicating with engagement leaders, and preparing financial statements and footnotes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with coursework in corporate or individual taxation.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher demonstrating accounting knowledge.
• Working toward CPA exam eligibility after graduation.
• Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests promptly and professionally.
• Gather information from clients for document completion.
• Use data analysis to identify useful information and support recommendations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Perform audit, review, and compliance testing per firm standards.
• Communicate with engagement leaders about open items and testing issues.
• Prepare or review financial statements, footnotes, and management reports.
