Qualifications

• Must meet educational requirements to sit for CPA exam in intended state of employment.
• Intern roles are entry-level, typically third year of a 4-year program or fourth year of a 5-year program.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in financial statement audits and audit methodologies.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings for organized records.
• Learn GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks and apply them in assignments.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risks.
• Contribute to evaluating internal controls and identify improvement areas.
• Use data analysis to support the audit process and improve reporting quality.
• Observe senior auditors to learn audit practices and client interactions.
