Job summary

PwC in the United States is seeking an Audit Intern to gain exposure to financial statement audits within the Assurance practice. You will learn PwC methodologies and support client teams while performing basic tasks and research.

You will observe and learn from experienced auditors, applying GAAP and GAAS as part of audit tasks, and develop skills in documenting processes, data analysis, and client interactions. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent).
• GPA of at least 3.0.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and apply audit methodologies.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
• Collaborate to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Contribute to evaluating internal controls and identifying areas for improvement.
• Utilize data analysis to support the audit process and improve financial reporting.
