Location is Cary, NC with a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days in the office each week. The internship runs October 2026 through May 2027, approximately 20 hours per week, with a salary range of $25–$30 per hour and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in IS/CS or related field at an accredited university (minimum 3.0 GPA).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with good written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support audits of business, financial, operational, and technology processes for compliance.
• Perform audit testing, analyze results, document findings using analytics and audit methods.
• Engage in stakeholder meetings and process walkthroughs to evaluate controls and risks.
• Assist with preparing audit observations, reports, and recommendations for management.
• Evaluate technology controls across access, change management, data protection, cybersecurity, and resilience.
• Review documentation, support project delivery, and maintain relationships with teams.
