Job summary

PricewaterhouseCoopers is seeking an Audit Intern in the United States to gain hands-on experience within Assurance. You will work with audit teams on financial statement audits, while learning PwC methodologies and client support practices.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
• Intern positions are entry level; candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and gain exposure to auditing methodologies.
• Participate in the review and verification of financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in the analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Engage in the documentation of audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor and analyze financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize data analysis to support the audit process and enhance financial reporting quality.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to develop a foundation in audit practices and client interactions
