Job summary

PricewaterhouseCoopers is seeking an Audit Intern in the United States, Atlanta area, to gain hands-on experience in financial statement audits within the Assurance practice. You will support audit teams, learn PwC methodologies, and contribute to client service initiatives while developing a strong foundation in audit tasks.

You will work on GAAP/GAAS compliance, analyze financial data, and observe experienced auditors to build practical skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Must meet educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in financial statement audits and auditing methodologies.
• Assist in review and verification of financial documents for transparency and compliance.
• Assist in analysis of financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Contribute to evaluating internal controls and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Use data analysis to support the audit process and improve financial reporting.
