Job summary

PwC is seeking an Audit Intern in the United States to gain practical exposure to financial statement audits and client support initiatives within our Assurance practice. You will participate in audits, apply PwC methodologies, and learn GAAP/GAAS while developing professional skills in a collaborative environment at PwC.

You will support teams by performing basic tasks, conducting research, and observing audit processes to build a foundation for a successful career in audit and assurance.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Prior internship experience in accounting is welcomed
• Pursuing CPA eligibility in the intended state of employment

Responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in financial statement audits and audit methodologies
• Review and verify financial documents for transparency and compliance
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making
• Document audit processes and findings for organized records
• Learn GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks and apply them in practice
• Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risks
• Support evaluation of internal controls and potential improvements
• Apply data analysis to support audit processes and improve reporting quality
• Observe experienced auditors to understand client interactions and audit practices
