Job summary

The role focuses on on-the-job training, supporting audit teams, and developing communication and teamwork skills essential for a CPA track. Applicants are enrolled in accounting programs and aspire to CPA licensure.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting is required.
• Pursuing a master's degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in structured on-the-job training and becomes familiar with GAAP and GAAS.
• Becomes familiar with BDO audit methodology to assist with audit stages.
• Provides support functions to the audit staff during engagements.
• Communicates with clients, creditors and related parties about audit issues.
• Prepares and documents work in working papers using BDO templates.
• Contributes ideas to audit teams and responds to other team members.
