Cherry Bekaert LLP, a leading U.S. accounting and consulting firm, invites students to join as Audit Interns to build a foundation for their careers in public accounting.

You will work with multiple supervisors on diverse client engagements and apply accounting knowledge using firm technology. We seek juniors or seniors within two years of graduation, with a GPA around 3.0 or higher, and proficiency in computers and spreadsheet software.

Qualifications

• Junior or senior enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career.
• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
