Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC is seeking an Audit Intern in the United States. You will work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements, applying accounting knowledge and using Firm technology.

Shadow auditors at all levels and participate in team training, marketing or research projects, and social functions. The role requires juniors or seniors in an accredited accounting program, near graduation, with basic computer and spreadsheet skills, and the ability to travel to client

Qualifications

• Enrolled juniors or seniors in accounting or related program, within two years of graduation.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
