Job summary

PwC Seattle is seeking an Audit Intern to gain hands-on experience in financial statement audits, support client engagements, and learn PwC's auditing methodologies. You’ll perform basic tasks, conduct research, and observe professional work environments to build a foundation in audit and assurance.

You will analyze financial data, apply GAAP/GAAS, assist in documenting processes, and develop commercial awareness. Travel up to 20% and CPA exam eligibility in your state are important milestones.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam in intended state before starting full-time.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and learning auditing methodologies.
• Participate in review and verification of financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks and support internal controls evaluation.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Support accounting and financial reporting standards across engagements.
