Job summary

PwC seeks an Audit Intern to gain hands-on exposure to financial statement audits within our Assurance practice. You will support teams by performing basic tasks, conducting research, and observing professional work environments while learning PwC methodologies.

As an intern, you will develop your personal brand, build commercial awareness, and contribute to client interactions. Travel up to 20% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• GPA of 3.0 (minimum) required.
• Eligibility to sit for CPA exam in your intended state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and learning auditing methodologies.
• Assist in reviewing and verifying financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Contribute to evaluation of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize data analysis to support the audit process and improve financial reporting quality.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to understand audit practices and client interactions.
