Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking an Internal Audit Intern for Summer 2027 in Lake Forest, IL. The internship blends remote work with onsite participation for key initiatives and travel to sites as needed.

The role supports financial and risk-based audits, with opportunities to develop within internal audit, risk management, or corporate finance. Hybrid schedule and training will help you build hands‑on audit experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college program and pursuing a related field.
• Completion of freshman year required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis.

Responsabilités

• Support execution of financial and risk-based audit engagements across business units.
• Conduct audit procedures including interviews, document reviews, and data analysis.
• Prepare and maintain accurate audit workpapers per standards.
• Identify and document audit findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Assist in presenting audit results to management through written reports and briefings.
• Foster collaboration with audit clients and team members.
• Follow established audit methodologies and internal guidelines.
• Participate in audit fieldwork and travel to sites as needed.
