Job summary

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts is seeking an Internal Audit Intern for 40 hours per week at the Press Building in Hershey, PA. You will gain hands-on experience auditing operational, compliance, and financial areas and support management with testing and documentation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, data analysis using Google Sheets or Excel, and teamwork with internal and external stakeholders. Eligible students enrolled in Accounting, Finance, or related fields must be 18+ and hold a valid

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Currently enrolled Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Conduct audit testing procedures and preparing work papers which document work performed and conclusions
• Assisting in the identification of risks and related controls
• Analyzing large volumes of data using common tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
• Performing special projects that may involve gathering of information, conducting analysis, preparing files, etc.
• Preparing draft audit reports based on the above audit procedures for review by corporate internal audit management
• Providing meaningful and useful recommendations on audit findings and observations
• Creating summary reports or trend analyses as requested
• Performing related administrative duties such as data entry, flow charting, scanning, etc.
• Preparing and presenting status reports to corporate internal audit management on a regular basis
• Functioning as a team player and working collaboratively with both internal and external customers, as necessary
• Meeting communicated schedules and deadlines
