Job summary

The U.S. Fleet Forces Command is seeking a Financial Management Analyst within the Comptroller Department of the CDR Navy Expeditionary Combat Command.

You will lead audit readiness efforts, coordinate internal controls testing, and support reconciliation of budgetary balances. Responsibilities include reviewing audit documentation, developing corrective action plans, advising on CFO compliance, and representing the command at DON audit conferences.

Qualifications

• Experience with Audit Readiness & Remediation (FIAR): testing internal controls, identifying deficiencies, drafting CAPs.
• Experience applying finance law/regulations to budgets.
• Experience developing or interpreting internal control policies and financial execution.
• Experience reviewing corrective actions to address vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit project activities coordinating and reviewing tasks for DON audit goals.
• Analyze and reconcile budgetary/proprietary balances to trial balance or financial statements.
• Provide professional financial advice related to CFO compliance.
• Attend DON Audit conferences on accounting, CFO, and internal control matters.
• Prioritize workload, guide team, ensure accuracy and FIAR training.
