Job summary

Citrin Cooperman, Bethesda office, is seeking an Audit Director to lead the Audit, Assurance, and Accounting Department. You will manage planning and execution of engagements, mentor staff, and drive profitability while expanding client services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• At least 10 years in public accounting/audit, including 4+ years in management.
• Ability to supervise staff at all levels on engagements.
• Experience in various industries is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership.
• Knowledge of Profx, Caseware, and Go File Room is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and execution of multiple engagements.
• Communicate with Partner on work status and client issues that arise.
• Understand and manage firm risk on audits within budget and time constraints.
• Develop, train and mentor staff on projects and reviews.
• Monitor profitability and staff utilization on engagements.
• Perform business development activities to expand client base.
• Lead firm training initiatives for staff development and efficiency.
• Recognize opportunities to provide value-added services.
