Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking an Audit Managing Director to lead the Audit & Attest department. You will manage engagements, provide high-quality audit services, and maintain strong client relationships while overseeing budgets and billing.

The role demands deep GAAP/GAAS knowledge and proven leadership across industries. Ideal candidates have a CPA, a track record of managing large teams, and the ability to drive new business development and industry involvement within a collaborative firm

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license required.
10+ years of current or recent experience in public accounting.
Ability to work in a variety of commercial industries; professional services; franchising; technology; construction; manufacturing & distribution; and/or real estate experience a plus.
A track record of building and sustaining client relationships.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written; ability to articulate complex business and technical audit/attest issues.
Project management and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Provide audits and attest services for engagements, coordinating all aspects with a team of professionals.
Build and manage a portfolio of clients and act as the point of contact.
Oversee client billing, collections, and budgeting for engagements.
Lead and mentor staff, fostering growth and development within the team.
Contribute to Pursuits and cross-sell to existing clients.
