Job summary

TD Bank US is seeking an Audit Director, Business Functions and Data Management, to oversee data governance and audit coverage across Consumer, Commercial, Wealth, and Shared Services. Lead talent, design audit plans, and ensure regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; Post Graduate degree preferred
• Professional Accreditation such as CISA, CISSP, CPA, CIA, CAMS
• 12+ years related experience
• Working knowledge of US regulatory requirements for technology and data
• Experience building a best-in-class technology audit team in a large financial institution
• Familiarity with data governance and management frameworks
• Familiarity with consumer banking, commercial banking, wealth management, and operations
• Knowledge of Java, scripting, CI/CD, Microsoft Azure, and data analytics is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provides people management leadership by hiring top talent and setting goals
• Designs, plans & executes Audit Plan for data governance and technology risks
• Ensures comprehensive US coverage across applications and data controls
• Collaborates with enterprise audit teams for alignment
• Maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Staffs the function with skilled personnel and SMEs as needed
• Attracts and retains key talent to strengthen audit quality
• Delivers a risk-based Audit Plan throughout the year
• Ensures work quality meets division standards
• Identifies significant control gaps and reports them clearly
• Manages budget within plan and risk
