Job summary

Lauterbach & Amen, LLP in Naperville is seeking a full-time Audit Associate to join the Audit department. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, STD and LTD insurances, and a 401(k) match.

The starting PTO is 4 weeks. The anticipated average salary range is $60,000-$65,000, with final offers based on location, experience, education, skill set, and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
• 0-3 years of experience
• Pursuing CPA is a plus
• Government or Non-profit Audit experience preferred
• Ability to travel 80% around the Chicago suburbs, with occasional travel to other Illinois locations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Verify accuracy of financial data against supporting documents
• Prepare audit work papers and document tests and findings

The anticipated, average salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000, with the final offer determined based on business-related factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, education, skill set, and professional certifications. As part of our compensation philosophy, offers are typically not made at the top of the range to allow room for future growth and salary progression over time
