Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-3 years of public accounting experience; CPA license or CPA candidacy is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related financial field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to articulate complex data.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop/Online) and MS Office; CaseWare and DataSnipper are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn client business needs, control systems, and industry GAAP/GAAS issues.
• Assist with financial statement audits, reviews, and compilation engagements.
• Perform substantive testing, examine financial statements, and review internal control procedures.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Create organized, accurate, and clear workpapers to support engagement findings.
• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns or information filings for various clients.
• Collaborate with clients and the LLG team to gather necessary financial documents and information.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Client Insight: Learn client business needs, control systems, and industry-specific GAAP/GAAS issues.
• Assurance Services: Assist with financial statement audits, reviews, and compilation engagements.
• Audit Support: Perform substantive testing, examine financial statements, and review internal control procedures.
• Financial Analysis: Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Documentation: Create organized, accurate, and clear workpapers to support engagement findings.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns or information filings for various clients.
• Client Communication: Collaborate with clients and the LLG team to gather necessary financial documents and information.
