Job summary

Walker & Armstrong LLP is seeking an entry-level Audit Associate to work with seniors, managers and partners on diverse engagements in the Phoenix area.

You will perform tests of controls, confirmations, and balance testing, assist with drafting financial statements and disclosures, and grow through training in a paperless environment. Travel will be approximately 25% as part of client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with technology and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with automated accounting systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests of controls, confirmations, and testing of account balances and activity.
• Assist with drafting financial statements and related note disclosures.
• Collaborate with seniors, managers and partners on engagements.
• Utilize paperless environment tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
