Job summary

Walker & Armstrong LLP, a respected Arizona CPA firm, seeks an Audit Manager to lead engagements, manage client relationships, and train staff. You will ensure audits meet high-quality standards, oversee complex projects, and contribute to continued firm success in a dynamic, paperless environment.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA license, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and 5+ years of relevant experience with strong leadership, communication, and technology skills.

Qualifications

• CPA license required and CPA firm experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 5+ years of auditing experience, including supervisory responsibility.
• Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to train staff.
• Proficiency with technology and paperless environments; travel up to 15-20%.

As an audit manager, you will provide support to audit teams and be responsible for managing and developing client relationships. This position is critical to the quality of our engagements in ensuring standards have been met through guidance and review of work performed. To accomplish this, you will continue to develop your knowledge of accounting principles and be responsible for providing guidance and training to senior and staff associates. Leadership and project management skills are essential in this position, as you will be tasked with managing complex audit projects and ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest standards. Dedication to the job and a willingness to invest the necessary time and effort are crucial for success in this role.
