Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking an Audit Staff to assist the audit process from planning through execution as part of the firm’s annual audit plan. The role involves researching, reviewing current processes, and proposing improvements to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing work papers, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring confidentiality while working within a collaborative team to meet deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
• 0-2 years of accounting experience (audit experience preferred).
• CPA certification or significant progress toward certification.
• Strong time and work management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; effective.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues and apply accounting principles/auditing procedures.
• Prepare clear, concise work papers with conclusions and recommendations for client correspondence.
• Develop positive working relationships with clients and understand their business needs.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrate exemplary work habits in client offices.
• Collaborate with others to be an effective part of the client service team.
• Respond to clients in a timely manner as promised.
• Adhere to the firm’s procedures and systems.
