What You Need To Know

Audit and Compliance Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates response to record requests from CMS, CMS contractors and other external parties and supports timely submission of records, working with the Audit Management and Compliance Manager.
  • Tracks appeal status of payment denials from CMS, CMS contractors and other external parties.
  • Coordinates appeals of payment denials from CMS, CMS contractors and other external parties
  • Coordinates training and education opportunities with CMS, CMS contractors and other external parties regarding audit findings.
  • Provides regular audit tracking status reports to leadership.

Qualifications

Be the Best Audit & Compliance Coordinator You Can Be

If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you!

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory environment or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation and Medicare Coverage Guidelines for Home Health and Hospice
  • Knowledge of CMS, CMS contractors and other external parties audit processes
  • Understanding of revenue cycle and reimbursement for Home Health and/or Hospice
