Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Audiovisual Engineer to design and coordinate AV systems for built environments across Federal, Transportation, Education, and more. Under senior staff guidance, you will translate project requirements into coordinated drawings, specifications, and reports.

You will produce AV plans in Revit, perform site surveys, and support client communications and coordination with agencies. This role offers a hybrid schedule and opportunities across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Audiovisual systems for built environments.
• Knowledge of audio/video distribution and processing.
• Strong client communication and documentation.
• Experience with Revit-based deliverables in AEC projects.

Responsibilities

• Consults with clients to analyze current technologies and develop solutions.
• Produces and maintains coordinated audiovisual design documentation in Revit.
• Independently completes defined design assignments and coordinates routine technical issues.
• Tracks and communicates risks to project leadership.
• Designs audiovisual systems and develops plans, diagrams, schedules and specifications.
• Performs site surveys and construction observations.
• Supports client communications and coordination with agencies.
