Job summary

Stantec is seeking a skilled Audiovisual Engineer to design and coordinate audiovisual systems for a variety of markets. The role emphasizes client interaction, production in Revit, and collaboration with multi‑discipline teams to translate requirements into detailed drawings, reports, and specifications.

The ideal candidate has a relevant bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience, with CTS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 3+ years of related professional experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification preferred.
Owner-directed consulting experience.

Responsibilities

Consults with clients to analyze current technologies and develop solutions addressing operational needs.
Produces and maintains coordinated audiovisual design documentation in Revit throughout all project phases, with at least 30% in Revit.
Independently completes defined design assignments and coordinates routine technical issues with senior guidance.
Tracks scope, schedule, and budget and communicates risks to project leadership.
Designs audiovisual systems and develops plans, diagrams, schedules, and specifications.
