Job summary

Virsono Hearing Center, Inc. is seeking an Aud Tech/PCC to support the clinic operations and patient flow under the supervision of a licensed audiologist. The role handles scheduling, room setup, patient prep for tests, tele-audiology tasks, and processing hearing aid orders and repairs.

You will ensure daily clinic readiness, manage patient interactions, maintain HIPAA compliance, and support marketing and education activities as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a busy medical clinic or business.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certificate or equivalent a plus.
• Competency with EMR software such as Counsel Ear.
• Willing to take AuD Tech distance program.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the clinic each workday.
• Manage patient flow and scheduling in EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with audiology tests.
• Assist tele-audiology functions and new hearing aid orders.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control at site.
• Handle patient paperwork and follow-up on forms.
• Support marketing and community education activities.
• Travel for work conferences and continuing education as required.
