Job summary

Virsono Hearing Centers in Amarillo, TX is seeking an Aud Tech/PCC to support licensed audiologists and ensure smooth clinic flow, including patient management, room setup, and preparing for audiology tests.

You will assist in tele-audiology, manage new hearing aid orders and repairs, handle scheduling, infection control, and maintain HIPAA compliance while coordinating with regional/site managers. Travel for conferences and education may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a busy medical clinic or business.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certificate a plus.
• Competency with EMR software such as Counsel Ear.
• Willing to take AuD Tech distance program.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the clinic each workday.
• Manages patient scheduling and EMR readiness.
• Preps exam rooms and assists with audiology tests.
• Assists remote Tele-Health appointments and device orders/returns.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and infection control.
• Supports marketing and outreach activities.
