Job summary

Fortell Research in the Washington, DC area seeks a Clinic Director to open a brand-new clinic, lead clinical operations, and deliver best-in-class care as the company expands in the region.

You will collaborate with operations and product teams, conduct diagnostics, fit and program hearing aids, and drive patient satisfaction and business KPIs. Onboarding at Fortell HQ in NYC will be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Washington DC Hearing Aid Dispenser license.
• Must hold an Audiology license.
• 6+ years of experience dispensing and fitting hearing aids for adults.
• Available during weekday hours with monthly weekend coverage.
• Willing to travel to Fortell Research HQ in New York City for onboarding and periodic training.
• Proficient with hearing aid software, CRM systems, and communication platforms.
• Strong sales acumen balanced with exceptional patient care.
• Passionate, empathetic, and committed to outstanding patient experiences.
• Able to apply clinical experience in innovative ways and work both independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic audiological testing.
• Provide personalized consultations, explaining test results and options.
• Recommend and sell Fortell hearing aids tailored to client needs.
• Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids for optimal performance and comfort.
• Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Perform REM and test box measures to verify fittings.
• Document client interactions and outcomes accurately.
• Educate clients and families on hearing loss management and device care.
• Maintain a clean, infection-controlled clinic environment.
• Stay updated on audiology advancements.
• Lead clinic operations: inventory, scheduling, workflows, and follow-up.
• Meet KPIs related to conversions, return and upgrade rates, efficiency, and satisfaction.
• Share clinical insights with management, operations, and product teams.
• Serve as clinical leader and ambassador for Fortell Research in the local market.
