Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family of businesses, is hiring for a Medical Assistant in Worcester, MA. This full-time role supports audiology within a physician-led, multi-specialty organization focused on value-based care.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking histories, phlebotomy, injections, and assisting with procedures. Requires a high school diploma and EMR proficiency; CPR and EPIC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, insurance software and EMR systems (Epic or equivalent).
• Strong problem solving and complex patient management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Room patients, obtain health history and check vital signs.
• Document patient care using EMR software.
• Perform phlebotomy, urinalysis and handle specimens.
• Administer medications and injections/immunizations.
• Assist providers with in-office procedures and point-of-care testing.
