Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking an Audiology Assistant to join our ambulatory services team. The role supports hearing aid troubleshooting, pediatric testing, and equipment maintenance under the supervision of an audiologist.

In addition to clinical tasks, you will handle chart records, referrals, and provider requests, while performing general administrative duties. Training will be provided and registration as an audiologic aide is required on hire.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years related experience; or college degree with 6 months related experience; or an equivalent combination.
• Computer literacy including spreadsheets and word processing tools is essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must become registered with the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board as an audiologic aide on hire.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist audiologist with hearing aid troubleshooting and repairs.
• Support pediatric testing under supervision of the audiologist.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Handle chart records, referrals, and provider support requests.
• Provide administrative support as delegated by Practice Leadership.
• Receive training and maintain required registration as an audiologic aide.
