You will manage high call volumes across six locations, register patients, input data into EMR, and assist with invoicing and office duties while ensuring HIPAA compliance and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a medical office, audiology clinic, or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred.
  • Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and inquiries.
  • Register new patients and update demographics.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism.
  • Assist patients with questions regarding testing, services and retail products.
  • Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments.
  • Input and update patient information in the EMR accurately.
  • Indexing of office records.
  • Handle patient concerns and complaints professionally.
  • Assist with invoicing and check-in tasks.
  • Ensure HIPAA and clinic policy compliance.
