Are you a Licensed Audiologist looking to take on an assessment role? Would you find it rewarding to serve the Veteran community?

We are seeking an Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

The Veteran files the claim before the appointment. All medical records are uploaded into a computer portal for review. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal. This medical evidence helps the VA decide the veteran’s benefits.

Note: Audiologists will NOT prescribe medical treatments or devices.

This position reviews and assesses 3-6 Veterans per day on average.

Schedule: 3 days/week. This is an IN-PERSON position with 1 to 1.5 hours per patient. No evenings, on-call, weekends, or hearing aid sales.

Requirements:

• Au.D degree from an ASHA-Accredited school
• Current license as an Audiologist
