We are seeking an Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The Veteran files the claim before the appointment, with all medical records uploaded into a computer portal for review. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. The Audiologist will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal, which provides medical evidence for VA benefits decisions.
Please note, the Audiologist will NOT prescribe medical treatments or devices.
This position involves reviewing and assessing 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
Schedule: 3 days/week. This is an IN-PERSON position offering 1 to 1.5 hours per patient. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales.
Requirements:
- Au.D. degree from an ASHA-Accredited school
- Current license as an Audiologist
